The club’s U15 hurlers defeated Sarsfields, away, last week. A second win from two and they now top the Group with a game to play (v Ballinasloe). The top two teams qualify for the Semi-Finals (first place will have home advantage).
Our U12 hurlers have qualified for the Cup Semi-Final v Annaghdown. The game is set to be played this Wednesday 16th at 6.30pm in Annaghdown. The U10s will take part in the annual Garda hurling tournament to be played this Saturday morning in Mountbellew. Players are asked to be in attendance at 9.30pm.
The Club’s Junior ‘B’ hurlers went down (5-14 to 2-12) to Cappataggle in the Championship. They lie fifth in the Group with a game to play (against 4th placed Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry). The top four qualify and unfortunately due to scoring difference, it is unlikely they will.
Our Sympathies to the Murphy family on the passing of Eugene Murphy R.I.P. A native of Attymon, Eugene was a great supporter of the Club through the years. He took great pride in seeing his family carrying on the tradition of Gaelic games. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Our Club Lotto jackpot is €6,400 this week in Burke’s, Colemanstown.
