Pearses 1-14 Beagh 1-11: The Club’s Junior ‘B’ hurlers advanced to the Quarter-Finals after they defeated Beagh in the Preliminary Quarter-Final Replay played earlier in Clarinbridge. Pearses had a good first half and led 0-12 to 0-5 at half-time. Keith Connell goaled for Pearses ten minutes after the restart and shortly after a Beagh penalty was saved. Beagh hit the net themselves four minutes later, 1-12 to 1-8 after 45 minutes. The margin was three when Niall Skehill pointed from a Pearses penalty on the 30th minute. Beagh struck back with two points before Skehill sealed the win with a point in injury time. Pearses will play Killimordaly in the Quarter-Final.
