The club’s U13 footballers made it two wins on the trot in the League last weekend, defeating Killererin in Barnaderg. In the Suck Valley Hurling Leagues our U14s had their first win of the season, against Sylane in Ballymacward. The minors were also in action, again against Sylane in Ballymacward, losing by 3 points. The Senior hurlers had their second League outing, in Fohenagh, against Portumna (report below).
The U21 hurlers will return to action this weekend against Cois Fharraige in Round 2 of the U21B Championship. Cois Fharraige had a good win over Killimor in Round 1, clocking up a big score. Pearses will be hoping to build on their good wn over Kilconieron in Round 1. A win would see us qualify for the Quarter-Final, a loss would mean we have to play in a Preliminary Quarter-Final. The U14s also make their first Championship appearance (having played 3 Suck Valley games), in Moycullen against the home side, at 3pm on Saturday. There is a bus travelling to the game.
