Well done to our U13 hurlers who qualified for the U13C Semi-Final, defeating Tuam on a scoreline of 6-11 to 1-0 in Ballymacward on Saturday. The result was never in doubt, with Pearses going ahead with a first minute Cathal Kitt goal. Pearses dominated the rest of the half, with Oisin Flannery leading the way, hitting 1-5. The other goals came from Dylan Grady, Conor Burke and Kitt again to leave the half-time score, 5-7 to 0-0.
Pearses took the foot off the pedal in the second-half, but kept the scoreboard ticking. Tuam broke the Pearses dominance with the goal, but Cathal Kitt hit back for Pearses, completing his hat-trick. There were further points from the excellent Oisin Flannery, Geordan Kenny and Kitt to leave the final result in no doubt.
